2025年2月19日（水）15時30分より「第2回My Premiumを語る会」を主に若手研究者に向けた「競争的資金獲得に向けたコツ」をテーマとして5階教員ラウンジで開催しました。参加者は23名でした。
今回は、新年度からの研究のための競争的資金獲得向け、早期から心構えや準備など対応できることを期待し、この時期に企画しました。
はじめに、学術委員会委員長の黒田るみ先生のごあいさつがあり、「経験から学ぶ」ことの意義を確認し合いました。
その後、これまで資金獲得実績のある2名の教員から、ご経験とお人柄が表れる具体的でわかりやすいお話がありました。
母性看護学・助産学部門の石井佳世子先生からは、他の専門領域の先生方との共同研究チームの中で、ご自身の研究の意義を実感しながら進めてきたプロセスと研究計画書の具体的な書き方の説明がありました。
成人・老年看護学部門の齋藤史子先生からは、先日の会津地方の衝撃的な大雪のご紹介から始まり、これまでライフイベントとともに真摯に研究を積み重ねてきた歩みについてお話がありました。
最後に、研究について語り合える機会を持ち続けていけるようにと看護学部長の高橋香子先生よりお言葉がありました。
参加者のアンケートからは、
「Ｑ：競争的資金獲得にチャレンジしたいと思う」という回答が約94%、
「Ｑ：教員間の交流が図れたと思う」という回答が82.4%ありました。
また、感想や意見として下記の記述がありました。
・ お二人の先生の発表に大変刺激をうけた。自分の関心を大切にして行こうと思う。
・ 普段表に出ない裏のご苦労話を聞かせていただきとても有意義な時間でした。
・ 研究もお人柄の反映だと気づかされました。面白いお話でした。
・ 経験から学ぶことができました。ありがとうございます。
・ 他の先生方の研究についてきける機会があるのはとてもおもしろい。
参加者は、おふたりに共通する研究への熱意にとても刺激を受け、個々に「頑張っていこう」と感じていただけたようです。本委員会では、それぞれの研究について看護学部全体で理解を深め合っていきたいと考えます。

Report of the 2nd “My Premium Discussion Meeting”
On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 15:30, the 2nd “My Premium Discussion Meeting” was held in the faculty lounge on the 5th floor. Twenty-three faculty members attended the meeting, which focused on “Tips for Securing Competitive Research Funding” and was aimed primarily at early-career researchers.
This session was scheduled at this time of year to help researchers prepare early for competitive research funding in the new fiscal year and to foster the necessary mindset and strategic preparation.
The session began with opening remarks by Prof. Rumi Kuroda, Chair of the Academic Committee, who emphasized the importance of learning from experience.
Two faculty members with strong track records in securing research funding then gave insightful and engaging presentations that reflected both their expertise and personal perspectives.
Dr. Kayoko Ishii, a Lecturer in the Department of Maternal Nursing and Midwifery, shared her experience conducting research as part of an interdisciplinary team. She reaffirmed the importance of her research and gave a detailed explanation of how to write a compelling research proposal.
Dr. Fumiko Saito, a Lecturer in the Department of Adult and Gerontological Nursing, began her presentation by mentioning the recent unprecedented snowfall in the Aizu region. She then reflected on her journey of steadily advancing her research while balancing various life events.
The session concluded with closing remarks by Prof. Kouko Takahashi, Dean of the School of Nursing, who emphasized the importance of continuing to provide opportunities to discuss research.
Survey Results and Attendee Feedback
From the attendee survey,
94% answered “yes” to the question: “Do you feel motivated to apply for competitive research funding?”
82.4% answered “yes” to the question: “Did you feel that this event facilitated faculty networking?”

Participants were deeply inspired by the passion that both speakers demonstrated for their research and left feeling motivated to pursue their academic endeavors. The committee looks forward to continuing to foster mutual understanding and collaboration throughout the School of Nursing.
