Radiation emergency medicine is essentially an application of general clinical practices, with a few radiation emergency specific protocols. Therefore, our radiation emergency medical protocol was developed on the basis of the existing JATEC™ by incorporating protocols specific to radiation emergency. The protocol was made easy to follow by physicians without prior experience in radiation emergency medical care.
