Fukushima Medical University’s main campus is in Hikarigaoka, a suburb of Fukushima City, the capital of Fukushima Prefecture. Our Hikarigaoka campus includes Fukushima Medical University Hospital, with 778 beds and 39 departments providing general and advanced referral care. We cooperate with various institutions in Japan and overseas, striving to improve systems of healthcare delivery and meet or exceed the expectations of Fukushima residents with diverse medical needs.
