Response to risks from early evacuation using a desktop learning kit

TargetMedical and welfare personnel outside of prefecture area.
Project content Training of communication skills in information related to health risks accompanying early evacuations

One of the lessons learned from the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake was the high level of health risks that accompanied the early evacuation and the later long-term evacuation. In the Kumamoto Earthquake, health problems related to the early evacuation arose as well. In this project, we provide desktop learning kits related to health risks accompanying early evacuations, targeting medical and welfare personnel in areas outside of Fukushima Prefecture, and implement communicationactivitiesinconsiderationof information-sharing and problem-solving in response to risks related to early evacuations after a disaster. In addition, we also perform surveys of the local medical and welfare personnel participating in this training, asking how they implement activities later on with residents of the area and in local municipalities.
